What is UM Racing?
UM Racing is Malta’s only Formula Student team who since 2012 have been dedicated to designing, funding, and building a custom-built, open wheel, single seater race car to compete against universities worldwide, meeting strict international regulations.
UM Racing offers a real-world work environment, through collaborations between students, helping members develop vital skills and extending their network. We also aim to be an innovative change in the driving industry and represent our nation worldwide
As a student-led voluntary organization, we have 35 dedicated members from various University of Malta faculties including engineering, commerce, communications, among others, operating as a professional team balancing engineering, planning and performance.
We’ve competed internationally seven times with five different cars, constantly improving with each event. For further information, please visit our history page.
